Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I became a workshop facilitator because I loved participating in the Discovery Certificate Series where I was able to explore and define leadership for myself. As a facilitator I want to help other students develop their leadership style and values to become better leaders throughout the UConn community!

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I chose to become a workshop facilitator in order to help develop my leadership skills as well as other UConn students’. It is one of the most important skills for our generation to have which is why I invest my time and effort into making it a great program.

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: Opportunities for leadership development promote personal-growth and success. I loved my experience as a participant in the Leadership Certificate Series and gained so much confidence from being a part of the program. I am so happy to give back into this organization!

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I participated in the Emotionally Intelligent Leadership workshop during the Fall of 2019. The experience was wonderful and I learned a lot about working to become a strong leader. I chose to become a workshop facilitator because I want to help other students to become the best leaders they can be!

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I enjoyed being a participant in the workshop series and wanted to continue to develop my leadership as a facilitator. I enjoy working with a diverse set of students who each contribute something valuable to each discussion. I have grown as a facilitator over my past 2 semesters, and I believe I can continue to develop and improve my skills.

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I personally found the leadership workshops to be a very fun and positive environment. Not only was it an enriching experience in that you were able to learn about other perspectives in a judgment free environment, but it also promoted self-growth as it offered a lot of opportunities to understand who you are as a leader and team player. In addition to wanting to come back to this environment, I chose to become a facilitator in order to help others on their self-growth journey’s as well.

Why did you choose to become a facilitator?: I chose to become a workshop facilitator because I have had great experiences taking them in the past and wanted to provide that opportunity for other people as well.
