The UConn Leadership & Organizational Development team has hosted annual conferences bringing together students, faculty, and staff to explore themes such as mindfulness, inclusion, and personal growth through keynote addresses and engaging breakout sessions. Each year’s event highlights the university’s commitment to cultivating thoughtful, empowered leaders by offering interactive workshops and networking opportunities tailored to diverse leadership styles.

The 2024 UConn Department of Student Activities Leadership Conference, themed “Leadership is YOU: Mind Mapping Your Potential,” took place on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM (with breakfast and registration from 8:45–9:30) at the Student Union on Storrs Campus. It featured a keynote address, interactive breakout sessions, and networking opportunities designed to empower student leaders, faculty, and staff through personal leadership development, mindfulness, inclusivity, belonging, and professional branding.
