Our Mission
Leadership and Organizational Development’s mission is to provide intentional, challenging, and educational experiences that are inclusive, adaptive, and accessible. We aim to empower individuals and groups to elevate their leadership identities and strengthen active membership in their communities.
What We Do
Leadership & Organizational Development (LOD) at UConn supports student growth through a wide range of leadership opportunities, programs, and resources. We offer workshops, cohort-based learning experiences, and one-on-one coaching, as well as scholarships and awards. LOD also provides support for student organizations and their leaders, offering training and resources to help them thrive. Through initiatives like the Leadership Learning Community, the Leadership Certificate Series, and Four Arrows, students explore leadership theory, build practical skills, learn and grow experientially, and connect with peers, faculty, and staff. At every level, LOD is committed to helping students lead with confidence, purpose, and integrity.
